Sheep are generally white, some black, near the Alpes, grey and reddish, and Honey-wooled. In the Isle of Man, yellow, or Lion tawney. They are generally termed Mutton. This is so well known in the signs of London, by the term of Fleece, that I dare give it no other Blazon, neither indeed can I give it a more proper expression.
