Roman shield

Corbian shield
 51. He beareth a Corbian or Germane shield; edged, with the figure of a Thunder bolt depicted thereon.

 52. He beareth two Roman shields, debrused with a third. This saith my author was the forme of the shield which the Gods sent them from Heaven; and therefore was by them termed the sacrate or Targett. ...


Thunderbolt
 53. He beareth a Thunderbolt in fesse trible shafted at each end and double winged.

Portcullis
 56. He beareth a close or planked Porcullas, Ringes with ropes pendant, and spikes at the Bottom: haueing in the midle, two cannon Holes (or Loop holes or spie holes).


Cartridge box
 57. He beareth a Granadeers Carterage Box, the cover open and the Girdle pendant from each side; [with] Buckle, and Tab. This is a Box made of Tin with seuerall diuisions in, and couered with leather to secure the charges of powder put into the same. This betweene two Granadoes and an Hatchett were a fitt coat for a Granader, being such Armes as he beareth.
