 XXXVIII. He beareth on a Ground plott in Base, a Joyners Bench with a Workman on the nearer side plaining of a Board.


Joiner
 XXXIX. He beareth a Joiner seated astride a piece of Timber with a Mallet in his right hand lifted up, and a Chissel in his left, making of a Mortice.

Chandler
 XL. He beareth a Chandler on the further side of his Mould, Dipping of a Staff or Rod of Candles in Tallow. This I have seen often times Painted on Sign-boards, to signifie the dwelling-house of a Chandler, or Candle-Maker.
